Updates

What's been added, improved or fixed in ClearAnalyser, per version.

  1. Version 1.1.2 — 6 October 2026

Edit scenarios straight from the Positions tab, faster and clearer search results when adding positions, and correct amounts for bonds.

    • NewScenario icon in the Positions tab: if a product is also in Scenario Alerts, you see a small icon next to its name. The colour shows the status: grey when there are no scenarios yet, cyan when they are active, orange when one has been hit. Click it to edit the scenarios right away, without switching tabs.
    • NewAverage daily turnover in "+ Add position": for each exchange you see the average turnover per trading day over the last month, converted to euros. That makes it easy to pick the exchange where a product trades most.
    • ImprovedEach view in Scenario Alerts (All positions, In my portfolio, Outside my portfolio) now remembers its own columns. For positions you do not own, Quantity, Avg. cost price, Position size and Return are off by default, since they are always empty there.
    • ImprovedImporting and adding now only show what you are not following yet. Positions you have already added no longer appear in the list.
    • ImprovedSearching in "+ Add position" is faster, and the Exchange column is now filled in. The exchange is also saved with the new position straight away.
    • FixedFor bonds and other products quoted as a percentage of their nominal value, the position size was 100 times too high. This carried through to risk and reward, the position size calculator and the order value in the alert email. Everything is correct now, including positions you already had: they are corrected automatically as soon as you open the tab.
    • FixedDragging columns wider or narrower now really works in Scenario Alerts. And Escape in a column filter now only closes the filter, not the whole window.
  2. Version 1.1.1 — 30 September 2026

Major update: Scenario Alerts. Set the price at which you want to act on each position, and ClearAnalyser alerts you when it is reached. With Premium this also works while your browser is closed, and the order is ready and waiting in DEGIRO.

    • NewScenario Alerts: a new tab where you set up to 3 scenarios per position, as a stop, a target or a neutral level. As the condition, choose price above, price below, return versus your purchase price, daily change or trailing from peak. The basics are free.
    • NewAdding positions: import your DEGIRO positions including quantity and average purchase price, search the DEGIRO catalogue by name, ticker or ISIN (including stocks you do not own yet), or click the new 🔔 icon on a DEGIRO product page.
    • NewPrice chart with draggable levels: your scenarios, purchase price and current price in one chart, from 1 day to all time. Drag a level with your mouse to where you want it. The risk/reward panel shows what you risk and what you stand to gain, and a calculator works out your position size.
    • NewAutomatic prices: by default ClearAnalyser uses the same price feed as DEGIRO, so turbos and other leveraged products are covered too. Yahoo Finance and Stooq are the backup. If you want another source, add Twelve Data with your own free key.
    • NewChrome notifications during market hours: ClearAnalyser checks your scenarios every 1, 5 or 15 minutes, but only while the product's exchange is open. Set quiet hours for the night; anything you miss arrives in one bundle afterwards.
    • NewAlert log and popup: review, filter, resend and export every alert to CSV. Click the ClearAnalyser icon in the Chrome toolbar to see which positions are closest to a trigger.
    • NewPremium: email alerts via your own Gmail, to one or more recipients. A daily budget keeps your inbox from filling up.
    • NewPremium: approach warning. You get a single heads-up as soon as the price comes within a percentage you choose of a level, before the level is hit.
    • NewPremium: cloud monitoring. Your scenarios stay watched while your computer is off, through a Google Apps Script in your own Google account. A 5-step wizard walks you through the setup.
    • NewPremium: prepare orders in DEGIRO. Attach an order to a scenario (limit, stop-loss or stop-limit). ClearAnalyser then fills in the DEGIRO order form for you, from the product page, from the alert log or with one click in the alert email. You always place the order yourself.
    • ImprovedResizable windows now remember their size exactly. Before, they shrank slightly every time they opened.
    • PrivacyChrome will ask you to accept additional permissions with this update. They are needed for notifications, periodic checks, fetching prices, the optional Gmail connection (send only) and the optional cloud monitoring. Price services only see the product whose price is needed, never your portfolio. Your scenarios are kept in your own Chrome storage and, with cloud monitoring, in your own Google account.
  3. Version 1.0.4 — 8 September 2026

A totals row (average/sum and position count) at the bottom of the Positions tab, plus a fix for unrealistically high IRR and Risk/Return figures on short-held positions.

    • NewTotals row on the Positions tab — a new row at the bottom of the table shows the average or total per column (holding period, return, IRR, result, value, volatility, risk/return ratio, max drawdown) across all visible positions, with an Ø marker for averages and a Σ marker for totals, plus the number of positions shown (e.g. "Average / total (10 positions)").
    • FixedIRR %/yr and Risk/Return — these columns on the Positions tab showed absurdly high percentages for short-held positions such as a turbo held for only a few days, because a short-term return was mathematically "stretched" out to a full year. Both columns now show "—" for positions held for less than about 30 days.
  4. Version 1.0.3 — 2 September 2026

Four new languages, a new Composition subtab with a portfolio-makeup chart, and risk columns (volatility, risk/return ratio, max drawdown) on the Positions tab.

    • NewNew languages — German, French, Spanish and Italian added alongside Dutch and English; the full interface, category and risk taxonomy, and Chrome Web Store listing are translated. The language switcher now shows a flag icon per language.
    • NewComposition subtab — a new subtab on the Positions tab with a stacked chart showing how your portfolio is made up day by day (largest position at the bottom, up to 30 individual positions in their own colour plus an "Other" band and Cash), with a tooltip per band and legend-hover highlighting the matching band.
    • NewPer-position risk columns — four new columns on the Positions tab: Type (Stock/ETF/Bond/Leveraged/Crypto), Volatility, Risk/Return ratio and Max drawdown, calculated over the period you actually held the position.
    • NewQuick period buttons (7d/30d/YTD/6m/1y/3y/5y/all) added to the Positions tab.
    • ImprovedThe Portfolio and Composition charts can now be resized vertically by dragging the bottom edge; the chosen height is remembered.
    • ImprovedThe Positions tab now remembers your chosen period, filters, sorting and search between visits.
  5. Version 1.0.2 — 31 August 2026

Money-weighted return (MWR) alongside time-weighted return, realized/unrealized results on the Portfolio tab, and a more accurate IRR calculation per position.

    • NewMoney-Weighted Return (MWR) — alongside the time-weighted return (TWR), Compound Interest now also shows the return you actually realised, including the effect of your own deposit and withdrawal timing.
    • NewRealized & Unrealized Result — two new stat tiles on the Portfolio tab show your total realized profit/loss (closed positions) and unrealized profit/loss (open positions) at a glance.
    • ImprovedIRR per Position — the annualised return column on the Positions tab now uses an exact IRR based on your actual buy, sell and dividend cashflows, instead of a linear estimate.
    • FixedBonds & Certificates — instruments DEGIRO quotes as a percentage of nominal value were incorrectly valued 100x too high when quoted in euros; this has been fixed.
  6. Version 1.0.1 — 31 August 2026

New Risk tab with drawdown, concentration and market sensitivity analysis, drag-to-reorder columns, and various performance and security optimisations.

    • NewDownside Risk — Sortino Ratio, Maximum Drawdown, average recovery time and Value at Risk (95% / 1-day), with a drawdown chart and a "Top Drawdowns & Recovery Analysis" card showing which positions drove each decline.
    • NewConcentration & Overlap — Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) concentration gauge, an interactive treemap and a "Company Exposure" table that looks through your ETF holdings to compute your true total exposure per company.
    • NewMarket Sensitivity — Beta (β), Alpha (α) and R² computed via regression of your daily return against a benchmark of your choice, with a return regression chart and performance attribution.
    • NewDrag-to-reorder columns — table columns in Transactions, Dividend, Monthly Analysis, Costs and Categorization can now be dragged into any order you like; the order is remembered.
    • ImprovedCollapsible toolbar — the floating ClearAnalyser bar can now be collapsed to a small round icon, so it no longer overlaps DEGIRO's own toolbar.
    • ImprovedCosts tab expanded with a Portfolio Turnover Rate stat (with an "Overtrading" badge) and a Gross/Net TWR comparison, plus filters, column resizing, a column picker and a new "Value" column in the cost table.
    • ImprovedVarious performance and security optimisations.
